If you would like to become a member:
- Ensure the despatch and transport of carcase to the larder is well handled.
- Apply Online via the LR website or phone LR on 0131 335 6602
- Download all the standards and application form from the scheme downloads section
- Email the scheme manager at firstname.lastname@example.org
Upon contact with SQWV, a membership information pack including scheme standards and application form will be forwarded to you for completion and return, together with your subscription payment.
Your subscription will be calculated according to the total number of carcasses sold per year, as per the table below:

Membership is renewable on an annual basis. Renewal notices will be issued annually with any new applications received after January not being invoiced again until the following year – e.g. any applications received after January 2016 will pay to join the scheme on application but won’t receive another invoice until 2017.
