Who is Scottish Quality Wild Venison (SQWV)
SQWV was set up in 2002 as a joint venture between Forest Enterprise, the Association of Deer Management Groups, the Scottish Game Dealers and Processors and the Scottish Gamekeepers Association.
SQWV is managed by a Board of Directors and administered by an independent certification body SFQC Ltd. SQWV also has a technical advisory committee which develops and reviews scheme standards annually and provides guidance on certification decisions.
